Joining Jacari as a volunteer tutor is a hugely exciting opportunity for you to be involved in real, positive change in Bristol through supporting children with English as an additional language.
What's involved?
We look for volunteers who:
- Are motivated by promoting the educational attainment, confidence and self-esteem of children and young people
- Have a high standard of written and spoken English – if English is not your first language, you should have an IELTS score of 7.5 or above.
- Are friendly, excellent communication skills and interested in learning about different cultures
- Preferably a university student or recent graduate, but if not please do get in touch and we can discuss whether you have the experience we need.
